How you can contribute
- Legally advise and support employees and managers, focusing on agricultural law (the LwG and its approximately 60 implementing ordinances) and other public law, but private law (e.g. intellectual property and contract law) is also important
- Support the legal representation of the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) in legal disputes before courts and authorities (e.g. by drafting legal documents)
- Participate in legislative processes and support Federal Council and parliamentary business
- Draft orders and appeal decisions
- Prepare and review contracts, concepts, guidelines and participate in interdisciplinary projects
What makes you unique
- Master of Law degree
- Quick comprehension and ability to repeatedly familiarise yourself with new legal and subject areas
- Confidence in negotiations, good communication skills and fluency in oral and written expression
- Interest in IT and technology; flair for interdisciplinary and agile collaboration. Good ICT user skills are expected
- Good active knowledge of two official languages as well as English

The Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) is the federal competence centre for the agricultural sector. It is tasked with implementing agricultural policy and preparing its further development. The agricultural research institute Agroscope, which conducts research in the interest of a productive and sustainable agricultural and food industry, belongs to the FOAG.
