Metrology at the Heart of Quality Assurance

In our Quality Assurance department, we are looking for a practical and committed specialist with a focus on metrology. In this versatile role, you ensure the quality of our precision tools. Precise measurement and inspection of our products form a central part of your duties. You support production with measurement and quality issues, contribute to resolving deviations, and actively participate in the optimisation and further development of our testing and measuring processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Conducting and evaluating complex measurements
• Programming, setting up, and operating measuring machines
• Developing and optimising measurement strategies as well as organising the necessary measuring fixtures
• Creating and optimising test plans and measurement methods
• Supporting production with quality and measurement deviations
• Supervising, monitoring, and further developing testing equipment

Your Qualifications

• Technical basic training in metalworking
• Further training in quality assurance or metrology is an advantage
• Several years of practical experience in programming tactile 3-D measuring machines (Mitutoyo advantageous), 2-D measuring systems (form and profile)
• Very good knowledge in reading and interpreting technical drawings as well as ISO-GPS, form and positional tolerances; AUKOM training or equivalent qualification is an advantage; knowledge of metrological testing procedures
• Knowledge of SPC, MSA, and FMEA
