Family business active throughout Switzerland, a key player in the distribution of wines and beverages to both private individuals and professionals, the Alloboissons Group encompasses a beverage distribution company (Alloboissons), a wine club (DIVO), a chain of specialised stores (Halle aux Boissons) and a wine trading company (Les Vins Jules Gex).

Senior Odoo Developer (M/F) 80-100%

Our Odoo ERP is the operational heart of the Group: it orchestrates all processes related to distribution, stores, trading and e-commerce. As a senior developer, you are the technical guarantor. You design solutions that save time for our 184 users and contribute to building internal expertise.

Your technical environment

• Odoo 16 to 20 hosted on-premise, 184 active users
• An IT team composed of: 2 business analysts, 2 web developers, 2 support staff (application/infrastructure), 2 apprentices.
• You report to the IT manager of the Alloboissons Group

Your initial challenges

• Make our reporting reliable: Make Odoo figures reliable and build the dashboards that the business needs every day, without going through an Excel export.
• Optimise the balance between custom and standard: Reassess custom developments to limit technical debt, facilitate version upgrades and favour the standard when it brings more value to the Group.
• Manage the migration from Odoo 16 to Odoo 20: Four major versions to cross, from the recovery strategy to the production switch. The most visible project of your first year.

Your missions

• Design and develop: create custom Odoo modules and adapt functionalities where the standard does not meet the specific needs of our business.
• Ensure quality: write unit and functional tests, review code and validate developments before production deployment.
• Manage integrations: develop connectors with our third-party tools such as our various websites via APIs or dedicated scripts.
• Collaborate: work in synergy with business analysts (translate business needs), support (bugs and ergonomics) and web developers (e-commerce).
• Document and transfer knowledge: write technical specifications, deployment guides and train internal teams.
• Keep up with technology: follow Odoo developments and new features and propose resulting improvements.

Your profile

• Several years of experience in Odoo development, with advanced mastery of Python and JavaScript (QWeb, Owl).
• You have already designed complex Odoo modules: process automation, dashboards, external API integrations.
• You know Odoo standards and understand the cost of a migration when deviating from them. Performance and security are part of your reflexes.
• You can explain a technical concept to a non-developer with pedagogy and patience.
• Autonomous and rigorous, you manage a technical project from A to Z.
• Languages: fluent French; German and English are an asset.

A plus

• Experience migrating between major Odoo versions.
• PostgreSQL, Docker, or DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD).
• Knowledge of the distribution, logistics or retail sector.
