Introduction

For an institution in the Basel region, we are looking on behalf of our client for an engaged and resilient Social Work Specialist, Social Pedagogue, or Care Specialist 80% immediately. You will accompany people with mental impairments in their daily lives and make a valuable contribution to their quality of life and self-determination.

Tasks

• Resource-oriented and individual support and assistance for people with mental impairments
• Planning, implementation, and documentation of care and support processes
• Ensuring high care quality and continuous development of support services
• Close collaboration with specialist agencies, authorities, relatives, and internal partners
• Participation in an interdisciplinary team and active involvement in creating a respectful living environment
• Professional handling of challenging situations and crises

Profile

• Completed training in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, or Care Specialist
• Experience in supporting people with mental impairments is an advantage
• Willingness to work irregular hours in shift work seven days a week
• High social competence, empathy, and strong service orientation
• Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented working style
• Ability to remain calm and confident even in demanding situations
• Respectful communication as well as reliability and team spirit
• Driving licence category B required
