As the largest social enterprise in the Basel area, we offer meaningful work, self-determined living, as well as comprehensive care and support at BSB (Bürgerspital Basel) with around 1,600 employees.

At the Alemannengasse residential home, 20 young people in IV measures find a temporary home. The offer is available to people aged between 15 and 25 during their career orientation or for the duration of training. The house is wheelchair accessible and open all year round.

BSB trains a large number of apprentices and students every year. We offer you an exciting practical training place from August or September 2027.

During your studies to become a social pedagogue, you accompany adolescents and young adults in their daily lives on the path to an independent and responsible life. You support them in achieving their individual goals, promote their social and practical life skills, and make an important contribution to the successful completion of their vocational measure. You orient yourself according to the process model of Cooperative Process Design (KPG) and shape the support together with the young people. In addition, you support them in meaningful leisure activities and take responsibility within the framework of the key worker system.
