About the job
At the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Hohenrain, children and young people with special support needs are holistically accompanied and promoted. Together with a committed team, you will create a reliable and varied daily routine, take responsibility for a day structure group, and create a framework in which the children can develop their skills and gain independence.
Your tasks
- Together with your team, you design a varied daily routine for children aged 5 to 12 with speech or cognitive impairments.
- You take on the professional and personnel leadership of three to four employees and are responsible for a day structure group.
- With empathy, you accompany the children and support them in discovering new things and developing themselves.
- You are committed to the well-being of the children and take on nursing and domestic tasks if required.
- Your shifts mainly take place during school weeks on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Your profile
- You have completed training in social pedagogy or as a care specialist and bring initial leadership experience.
- You enjoy working with children with impairments and already have experience in this area.
- Patience, composure, and humour are among your strengths, allowing you to respond flexibly to individual needs.
- Networked thinking, good German language skills in spoken and written form, as well as confident IT user skills complete your profile.
