Heberlein is a world-leading provider of air vortex and air texturing nozzles for synthetic continuous filaments. Our solutions for man-made fibre spinning, draw texturing, air texturing and air covering shape processes in the chemical fibre industry worldwide. We aim not only to secure this technological lead but to further expand it.

As part of our planned succession, we are seeking an internationally experienced leader from the textile or textile machinery industry – ideally with a solid background in the chemical fibre industry.

As a member of the executive board, you will take overall responsibility for the departments of development & design, product management, and technical service. Together with your team, you will drive innovation processes forward and translate market and customer needs into pioneering solutions. You combine technological excellence with entrepreneurial thinking and clear leadership, ensuring that innovations are consistently aligned with customer benefit, industrial feasibility, and sustainable competitiveness.

What you will achieve

• Overall responsibility for the areas of development & design, product management, and technical service
• Development and implementation of the technology and innovation strategy
• Leadership and further development of the entire technology organisation
• Building a sustainable innovation pipeline with market-relevant product innovations
• Prioritisation of development projects regarding customer benefit, economic efficiency, and strategic importance
• Ensuring close integration of development, product management, professional service, as well as sales and operations
• Consistent use of data, simulations, and test fields to accelerate product development
• Representation of the company towards OEMs, customers, universities, and technology partners

How you will inspire us

• Several years of successful leadership experience as CTO, head of development, or head of technology in the international textile, chemical fibre, or textile machinery industry are prerequisites for this position
• Proven success in developing and successfully launching technological innovations
• Ability to translate market and customer needs into technical strategies, roadmaps, and concrete development projects
• Confident understanding of industrial manufacturing, serial production capability, quality, and economic efficiency
• Confident acting at operational level, in the executive board, and towards the supervisory board
• Clear, structured, and decisive leadership personality with high implementation competence
• Recognises potential in employees, develops it purposefully, and demands performance with clear expectations and commitment
• Entrepreneurial thinking and very good communication skills in German and English
