Research Assistant (60-80%)

Preferred employment start date is 01.06.2026 Fixed term for 2 years (with option to extend)

Your responsibilities

Perform in vivo studies, including xenograft and preclinical models.

Execute in vitro experiments using cell line and patient-derived models.

Train and mentor new lab members in experimental techniques and lab protocols.

Monitor and manage laboratory inventory, ensuring efficient workflow.

Your profile

We are looking for a motivated research professional with a degree (BSc or MSc) in biology or a related biomedical field, or previous experience as a research assistant. Significant experience with in vivo studies in mice, including an LTK1 certification, is required. Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, cell culture, and molecular biology is highly valued.
The successful candidate is highly organized, reliable, and adaptable, with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team. Proficiency in English is required. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to cutting-edge translational cancer research and to develop advanced technical and scientific skills in a leading laboratory environment.
