What you achieve

• You take on a wide range of tasks in the Server & Storage team and are jointly responsible for the further development and operation in the areas of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, virtualisation, the server, storage & SAN infrastructure as well as backup & recovery.
• The engineering and operation of the Linux, storage & SAN infrastructure form your main focus.
• With your expertise and interconnected thinking, you take an active role in various IT (sub-)projects.
• You quickly familiarise yourself with new subject areas and technologies and like to help shape innovations.

What you bring

• An IT education with a focus on system technology (EFZ, HF, FH) as well as certifications is an advantage.
• Several years of professional experience as a system engineer in the above-mentioned specialist areas, especially Linux, qualify you for this role.
• You have the willingness and motivation to take on a responsible role in system technology.
• Enjoyment of agile working methods (SAFe), a communicative, responsible and team-oriented personality, flexibility and commitment for occasional extraordinary work assignments (no periodic on-call duty) characterise you.
• You bring hands-on scripting skills and enjoy automation.
