As a PLC Software Engineer Industrial Automation you support our customers from conception, implementation, through testing to commissioning of the software and beyond.
YOUR TASKS
- CUSTOMER FOCUS & CONCEPTION: Understand the requirements of our customers and develop innovative and tailored concepts.
- PROJECT LEAD: Support our customers in small project teams from conception through implementation to commissioning and beyond.
- SOFTWARE: Develop and optimise software programmes in the field of process automation (TIA – Unified/PCS7/ProLeit).
- COMMISSIONING: Test your own developed software and commission it on site at the customer.
- DOCUMENTATION & KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER: Create and maintain technical documentation for sustainable knowledge retention, training and maintenance.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Basic electrical training (e.g. automation technician or electrician or similar)
- Further education at FH / HF level in electrical engineering / automation
- Several years of experience in the implementation of process automation projects
- Sound knowledge in programming TIA / Unified and ideally also Simatic PCS7 and/or Proleit
- Willingness to commission within the country (10%)
- Flexibility for around 9 on-call deployments per year via remote
- Networked thinking ability (flexibility, openness, strategic foresight)
- Very good knowledge of German (at least C1); English skills are an advantage
