Ensuring reliable ICT operations across the entire technical environment – from the workplace including peripherals to servers, virtualisation, storage, and backup.
Further development of standardised operational procedures through automation as well as participation in technical projects and improvement measures within the IT system landscape.
Handling incidents and requests in 1st and 2nd level support with analysis and troubleshooting of hardware and software; gained insights and solutions are documented in a structured manner and made available for the knowledge base.
The area of responsibility also includes support with user accounts and permissions, technical support of workplace components, and the regular on-call service to ensure system availability.
Qualifications:
Solid practical experience is expected in several key operational areas, especially Microsoft 365, workplace, virtualisation, storage, and backup, complemented by a completed IT apprenticeship or equivalent several years of professional experience.
Knowledge of the interplay between on-premises infrastructure and Azure Cloud is also advantageous, as is experience with Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell for automation and infrastructure as code.
A broad technical understanding is required, encompassing both end devices and central infrastructure, combined with conceptual thinking, initiative, and a careful, independent working style.
Fluent written and spoken German, technical English in speech and writing, and a valid category B driving licence are prerequisites.
