Communication and Press Relations Officer at 80% (Fixed-term Contract)
Tasks and Responsibilities
You propose and implement the institutional identity according to the defined graphic and editorial line, in agreement with and under the responsibility of the Communication Director. You ensure the follow-up of the production of print communication materials and derivative products, in connection with graphic designers and various service providers. You coordinate communication and outdoor advertising campaigns. You participate in the graphic follow-up and production of the season brochure, in collaboration with the graphic agency, as well as logistical aspects. You ensure the follow-up of the retroplanning of print productions and communication campaigns. You develop and maintain relationships with journalists, and organise interviews, receptions and press trips. You must design, write and distribute press materials, and develop and update the press contact network.
You monitor the print budget of the Communication department, in collaboration with the Communication Director.
Profile and Required Skills
You hold a Master’s degree in communication, or an equivalent qualification, as well as proven experience in a similar position in the cultural sector, ideally theatre. You are proficient with common computer tools, as well as desktop publishing software. You are organised and autonomous in managing your tasks. You are fluent in French and English; another language is an asset. You know how to adapt, are solution-oriented and appreciate working in multidisciplinary teams. Working hours are mainly regular. Depending on needs, you may be required to work hours related to theatre life (evenings, weekends or public holidays). While skills and experience are essential for this position, La Comédie de Genève values human skills and respect for the values of hospitality and open-mindedness.

Contract type: fixed-term contract
Activity rate: 80% (32 hours/week)
Contract period: January to mid-July 2027 (handover in December 2026)
