Enkom and Suntel Switzerland develop, build and operate infrastructure solutions in telecommunications and energy. For our telecom infrastructure business, we are seeking an experienced leader by agreement who combines operational proximity, technical understanding and economic responsibility.

Our telecom business is a central core business of Enkom and Suntel Switzerland. To sustainably strengthen this business, we are creating this new position. In this central role, you will lead the Telecom Infrastructure Services division, be responsible for its operational performance and actively develop its direction. You will report directly to the CEO Switzerland and work closely with the management team and relevant key personnel. The role is designed as a leadership position with operational and economic responsibility. You combine technical project implementation, results management and staff leadership and ensure the successful execution of our contracts. In doing so, you shape the further development of the business area and create the conditions for sustainable success.

Your tasks

• Leadership and further development of the Telecom Infrastructure Services division
• Responsibility for budget, forecast, project margins and results of the division
• Leadership and development of project managers, coordinators and operational managers
• Management of civil work, construction, engineering and telecom projects
• Ensuring quality, deadlines, cost control and change order management
• Close coordination with operations regarding resource requirements, deployment planning and utilisation
• Operational customer and project responsibility in the telecom sector
• Establishment of clear responsibilities, deputies and a sustainable leadership structure
• Participation in the development of customer relationships, offers and new business opportunities in the telecom sector

What you bring

• Several years of experience in telecom, infrastructure, engineering, construction or comparable project environments
• Experience in the economic management of projects, budgets, forecasts and margins
• Experience in leading project managers, coordinators and operational teams
• Good understanding of telecom infrastructure, civil work, engineering, field operations and technical project execution
• Ability to structure operational complexity and create reliability
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strong implementation skills and pragmatic working style
• Proximity to operational business and credibility with technical teams and customers
• Convincing presence with customers, employees and internal interfaces
• Very good German skills, proficient English skills, French is an advantage
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland
