The GBS St.Gallen is a leading vocational education institution in Eastern Switzerland. We train around 4,500 apprentices in over 45 professions of basic vocational education. We are looking for a

Educational ICT Supporter (PICTS) - Support Focus (m/f/d)

Starting: 1 August 2026

Workload: 40%

Location: St.Gallen

What to expect

• First-level support for teachers and staff with technical ICT questions including analysis, initial solution, and forwarding of complex cases
• Instruction and advice for users with the aim of disturbance-free ICT use
• Collaboration in the introduction, use, and further development of digital teaching and learning materials
• Creation and maintenance of instructions, documentation, and checklists for teachers and staff

What distinguishes you

• Very good ICT user skills as well as technical understanding of school infrastructures and systems
• Ability to analyse pedagogical needs in teaching and learning processes
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a view to everyday teaching
• Experience and knowledge in promoting digitalisation in the educational context
• Qualification and eligibility as a certified vocational school teacher or as a teacher at vocational baccalaureate schools or willingness to obtain this
• Willingness to work flexibly at the various GBS school locations in the city of St.Gallen
