YOUR TASKS
- Professional and personnel management, development and empowerment of a team of strategic purchasers responsible for various medical specialist and product groups
- Overall responsibility for the strategic orientation and further development of the purchasing of medical products and pharmaceuticals as well as for the definition and implementation of group-wide product group, product and supplier strategies
- Active management and standardisation of the product and supplier portfolio with the aim of sustainably combining medical quality, supply security, cost-effectiveness and regulatory requirements
- Identification, evaluation and consistent realisation of savings and value creation potentials as well as management of relevant purchasing KPIs and strategic initiatives
- Conducting complex contract, price and condition negotiations with national and international industry partners as well as building and managing strategically relevant supplier relationships
- Close cooperation with clinic management, doctors, pharmacies, medical departments, supply chain and other functions of the Corporate Office
- Leading cross-departmental projects, committees and decision-making processes
- Ensuring legally and regulatory compliant procurement taking into account Swiss therapeutic products legislation, medical device regulation as well as relevant transparency, compliance and governance requirements
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed studies in medical, economic or comparable fields, ideally supplemented by further training in purchasing or supply chain management
- Several years of solid experience in strategic purchasing with proven responsibility for complex product groups (ideally in healthcare as well as in medical technology, medical products or pharmaceutical environment)
- Several years of leadership experience and the ability to develop employees in a goal-oriented manner, delegate responsibility and sustainably develop a high-performance team
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, entrepreneurial thinking as well as a confident and binding manner towards medical, commercial and external stakeholders at different hierarchy levels
- High analytical and conceptual competence, strong affinity for numbers and data as well as the ability to structure complex issues, prepare decisions and consistently implement changes
- Very good German and English skills as well as confident handling of SAP, MS Office and data-based control and reporting tools, French skills are an advantage
