Senior Glass Apparatus Maker / Deputy Head of Glass Production 80-100% (m/f/d)

Operations

In this role, you are part of our highly specialised team for the manufacture and processing of our sophisticated glass apparatus.
In addition to producing complex glass apparatus, you play an important role in the professional training and further development of our apparatus glassblowers. You also support the Head of Glass Production both operationally and administratively and actively contribute to the advancement of our manufacturing processes.

• Manufacture of demanding glass apparatus at the table burner, lathe, and rolling bench
• Professional training, promotion, and support of our apparatus glassblowers and apprentices
• Deputising for the Head of Glass Production during their absences
• Participation in development projects and the introduction of new manufacturing technologies
• Support in the production of rolling forms, tools, and gauges
• A diverse production portfolio with exciting custom-made and series productions ensures variety

What do you bring with you?

• Several years of professional experience in the manufacture of complex glass apparatus
• Enjoyment in passing on expertise and developing employees
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• High quality awareness and strong team spirit
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Confident use of MS Office and ERP systems
