The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates a hospital and an affiliated care centre each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees offer elderly people a regionally unique all-round care from acute medicine through rehabilitation to transitional and long-term care. During your training you will learn:
- Care & Support: Assisting patients/residents in everyday life, mobility, nutrition and personal hygiene.
- Hygiene & Household: Carrying out hygiene measures, making beds, cleaning and tidying in the care area.
- Medical Activities: Measuring vital signs, administering medication according to instructions, and assisting with wound care and medical procedures.
- Documentation: Documenting observations and care provided and reporting important changes.
- Communication & Teamwork: Conducting conversations with patients and relatives as well as collaborating with nursing professionals and other occupational groups.
