We are looking for a within the Cargo unit,
DUTY MANAGER CARGO (M/F/D) WORKING RATE | 100% LOCATION | GENEVA AIRPORT
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead teams, promote high-level professionalism and a good collaborative atmosphere
- Ensure proper application of Swissport, client airlines, and airport authority instructions. Stay constantly informed of changes and updates to applicable rules. Ensure staff do the same
- Conduct spontaneous quality checks and initiate any required corrective measures
- Maintain optimal operational functioning of the unit, respecting set goals and standards
- Assign tasks to teams considering operational priorities
- Write reports to report any irregularities within the given deadlines
- Ensure internal and external communication; represent Swissport to clients on operational matters
- Promote personal development of employees by coaching them to gain autonomy and broaden their skills. Encourage maintaining best practices; set personal objectives to improve individual performance and monitor progress
SKILL PROFILE
- Excellent knowledge of French, good command of English
- Permanent category B driving licence
- Experience in a responsible position within airport operations
- Comfortable with IT tools; ability to provide technical support
- Ability to write detailed reports in English and French to provide information in case of irregularities, etc.
- Strong professional awareness, sense of responsibility, initiative and service spirit, willingness to develop and maintain the quality of our services at an optimal level
- Ability to analyse, anticipate, and make autonomous operational decisions
- Willingness to engage in a continuous improvement process, both operationally and organisationally
