Your working world at easylearn

Together with our software engineers and product management, you will further develop the easylearn Learning Management System. Your focus is on the backend with PHP, Symfony and SQL. However, you can also contribute in other areas and grow beyond your focus.

Your area of responsibility

Your tasks include in particular:

• You develop new features for our LMS and improve existing solutions in maintainability, performance and scalability.
• You translate customer needs into technical solutions together with product management.
• You develop and maintain REST APIs and ensure reliable interfaces.
• You write simple, understandable code that your team can easily further develop.
• You contribute ideas to continuously improve software and collaboration.

• DevOps: Deployment and test pipelines with Docker, GitLab, Python and Bash
• Observability: Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus and Grafana
• Integrations: Integration services in Go
• Frontend: Co-design individual features in React

What you bring to our team

• Practical experience in backend development with PHP and SQL
• Experience with REST APIs, ideally also with design, development and maintenance
• High standards for software quality: You prefer simple, well-thought-out solutions and well-readable code
• Interest in understanding technical requirements and translating them into meaningful solutions
• Enjoyment of collaboration: You share knowledge, accept feedback and want to develop professionally and as a team
• Good English skills and basic knowledge of German

• Experience with Symfony (otherwise you will quickly familiarise yourself)
• Experience with the gradual modernisation of existing codebases
• Experience in one of the additional areas above
