The contribution you can make

• Plan and coordinate current activities in compliance with deadlines
• Manage administratively, monitor and coordinate double taxation agreements and other activities of Parliament and the Federal Council, as well as coordinate them with the Federal Chancellery and other federal offices
• Provide administrative support for consultation procedures
• Receive and respond to written and telephone enquiries or forward them to the competent person
• Maintain lists of double taxation agreements and update the relevant regulations annually

What distinguishes you

• Commercial training or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience and familiarity with support in tax and legal matters
• Excellent organisational skills
• Interest in flexible working arrangements and proficiency in the digital work environment
• Excellent knowledge of two official languages and English; passive knowledge of the third official language is an advantage

In summary

Work at the crossroads between politics and international tax issues. As an assistant, you will support the tax department in managing political matters and procedures, as well as in coordinating and organising the department's activities. Together with a small team, you will form the administrative hub of the department, making a decisive contribution to its success.

The SFI for Switzerland

The State Secretariat for International Financial Matters SFI is responsible for the coordination and strategic management of financial, tax and monetary matters at the international level. The SFI defends Switzerland's interests abroad in these areas and develops the basis for policy and regulation of financial markets as well as for the Swiss tax location.
