Your responsibilities:

• Educational, didactic and methodological leadership of a department with 15 professions
• Personnel responsibility for approx. 50 teachers
• Ensuring vocational and teaching development
• Organisational and financial responsibility for the deputy headship
• Part of the overall school management of BBZ BL

Your background:

• Teaching qualification for secondary level II, vocational pedagogical qualification
• School management training, leadership training or willingness to complete this
• Empathy, motivation and teamwork skills
• Communication skills and discretion
• Innovative thinking and joy in development
• Leadership

Vocational Training Centre Baselland (BBZ BL)

The BBZ BL trains 3,300 apprentices in 40 professions together with the training companies. We are innovative, ISO-certified and committed to lifelong learning. In August 2028, we will move into the brand-new Polyfeld Campus on Kriegackerstrasse in Muttenz as our new school location.

What you only get with us

You are at the heart of vocational education and play an active role in training young people to become professionals. You recruit and develop teachers. As part of a strong team, you steer the largest vocational school in the region into the future. You will gradually take on your new role by summer 2028.
