Holzpunkt AG is a leading trading company for naturally oiled parquet and its care products. The family business is a pioneer of the oxidatively oiled wood surface and operates, in addition to trading, its own Edelweiss parquet manufactory. Around 30 wood enthusiasts among our employees in Zurich, Bern, Zug, Wila and Balterswil ensure customer-oriented service tailored to needs. To complement our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a person with a very high affinity for parquet who acts in a customer-oriented manner.

As part of the two-person sales team in Zurich and as support in the Zug exhibition, you maintain close contact with business and private customers. You visit and advise architects, general contractors, craftsmen and builders, accompany them through the purchasing process up to delivery and occasionally also on site at the construction project. You process enquiries, write offers and coordinate orders. You regularly exchange with the sales team at the headquarters in Wila and the other locations. Here is an insight into the Edelweiss Parquet Manufactory and an organised event of ours at the Kunsthaus Zurich.

Your tasks include:

• Parquet consultations for builders, architects and fitters in our exhibitions
• Active market development focusing on the customer group of architects, including customer visits in the Zurich/Aargau/Zug area
• Timely preparation of offers and orders
• Performing general office work (Word/Excel/AS400)
• Sales responsibility according to the assigned budget
• Willingness to work two Saturdays which will be compensated (9 am - 2 pm)

Your profile:

• Enthusiastic sales consultant combined with a passion for parquet or wood
• Broad network in the construction sector would be an advantage
• High social competence, independent and proactive
• Well-groomed and engaging appearance
• Very good German language skills
• Team player, networked thinking as well as precise and reliable working style
• Completed vocational training with several years of professional experience
• Driving licence category B is necessary for this position
