WELCOME TO THE FASCINATING WORLD OF PULSED POWER DRILLING TECHNOLOGY

We are developing the innovative drilling process Zeus Plasma-Pulse Geo-Drilling (PPGD) to market maturity and exploring the limits of technology.

For this, we are looking for an electrical engineer who not only optimises existing solutions but is enthusiastic about exploring new technological paths and stepping out of the comfort zone of their field. You will sketch, calculate, simulate, build, test, and measure, and we will learn from the results.

YOUR TASKS
Development of pulsed power systems:
• System architecture and circuit simulation
• Simulation of electric and magnetic fields
• Analysis of transient processes and parasitic effects
• Dimensioning of rectifiers, energy storage, and spark gaps
• Design of control loops
• Construction and testing of circuits and complete prototypes

WHAT YOU BRING
• Higher degree in physics, electrical engineering, energy technology, power electronics or a comparable field
• Experience with high voltage technology, pulsed power, and transient processes
• Experience with PSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, COMSOL/Ansys, Castle or comparable software
• Passion for technology, especially electrical engineering and physics
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
• Independent and structured working style
• Strong interest in learning new topics
• Enjoyment of practical development work
• Good German and good technical English skills
