Facility Manager / Building Technician
For our client, an established Swiss industrial company with technically demanding infrastructure, we are looking for a committed, independent and solution-oriented individual as Facility Manager / Building Technician.In this versatile role, you ensure the reliable operation of buildings, technical systems and supply systems. You take responsibility for maintenance, repair and troubleshooting, thereby making an important contribution to operational safety, system availability and the long-term preservation of infrastructure value.
Your area of responsibility
- Ensuring reliable, safe and economical operation of the technical building infrastructure
- Supervision and monitoring of building technical systems as well as independent execution of various maintenance tasks
- Maintenance and care of systems in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, compressed air and water treatment
- Carrying out inspections, maintenance work, repairs as well as systematic analysis and resolution of technical faults
- Supervision and monitoring of fire protection infrastructure such as fire alarm, sprinkler and other safety systems
- Coordination and support of external specialist companies and service providers taking into account quality, safety and hygiene requirements
- Technical support for conversions, internal relocations, infrastructure adjustments and smaller technical projects
- Organisation and partly independent execution of general caretaking duties as well as seasonal tasks such as winter services
- Maintenance and updating of system documentation, maintenance records, test protocols and technical certificates
- Assuming a central contact function in technical building management as well as readiness for on-call and special deployments
- Continuous identification and implementation of improvement opportunities regarding operational safety, availability, costs and efficiency
Your profile
- Completed technical basic training, for example in mechanical, building technology or comparable fields
- Professional experience in technical maintenance or operation of building and supply systems
- Knowledge in heating, ventilation and air conditioning is an advantage
- Good overall technical understanding as well as pronounced manual skills
- Knowledge in mechanics, pneumatics and electrical engineering
- Experience in maintenance, repair and fault analysis of technical systems and equipment
- Independent, structured and reliable working style with a high sense of responsibility
- Analytical and solution-oriented approach as well as the ability to resolve technical problems sustainably and practically
- High cost, quality and safety awareness
- Flexible, resilient and implementation-strong personality with enthusiasm for a versatile technical field of work
- Team-oriented working style as well as confident communication with internal contacts and external service providers
- Willingness to occasionally work outside regular hours or to take on on-call duties
- Very good knowledge of German
