Triaplus employs around 600 staff, is a teaching hospital of the University of Lucerne, and is recognised as a training centre. Together with Klinik Zugersee and the decentralised outpatient clinics, we ensure psychiatric care in the cantons of Uri, Schwyz, and Zug. The Klinik Zugersee is a centre for inpatient psychiatry and psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. As a Category A training clinic, inpatient with a total of 158 hospital beds and about 1600 admissions per year, it is on par with university and cantonal hospitals. The clinical social workers are experts in interface work between the individual and the social environment. The aim is to promote the recovery process, social participation, and protection of people with health impairments or at risk of illness. They do this by particularly addressing and positively influencing the social aspects of health. In this role, the task of social work differs from administrative and nursing duties. The focus is on supporting the entire social system. Your tasks include
- Case management (admission to discharge)
- Participation in interprofessional meetings (doctors, nursing, psychologists)
- Networking work in the cantons of Zug, Schwyz, Uri
- Participation in discussions with employers, social insurance institutions, residential institutions, relatives, KESB and guardians, etc.
- Participation in internal training sessions
- Participation in team meetings, intervisions, and supervisions
- Social work in the areas of youth work, gerontology, acute psychiatry, addiction, and specialised therapies
