IT Solutions Engineer (m/f/d)

Technical variety instead of routine: The scope of this position ranges from cloud migrations through modern Microsoft environments to security and infrastructure projects. We are looking for a solution-oriented IT specialist who understands customer environments, translates complex requirements into functioning solutions, and technically brings projects safely to completion.
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementation of individual IT solutions for demanding SME environments
Technical consulting for cloud, infrastructure, and modernisation projects
Design of hybrid Microsoft architectures with Azure and Microsoft 365
Implementation of migrations, rollouts, and platform modernisations
Installation and configuration of IT infrastructures at customer sites
Execution of technical maintenance and optimisation measures
Support of Windows, Microsoft, and cloud platforms
Integration of server, network, storage, and virtualisation components
Development and implementation of modern security and identity concepts
Administration of Entra ID, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 services
Support of firewalls and endpoint security solutions
Analysis of complex faults and sustainable resolution of technical causes
Conducting performance and infrastructure analyses
Development of automations with PowerShell
Participation in the standardisation and professionalisation of IT operational processes
Creation of technical concepts, runbooks, and documentation
Accompanying customer projects from requirements analysis to implementation
Technical contact for infrastructure, cloud, and security topics
Continuous development of the technologies and services used
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in system engineering, cloud engineering, or IT consulting
Completed IT training or comparable technical background
Very good knowledge of the Microsoft environment
Solid practical experience with Azure and Microsoft 365
Experience with Windows Server and hybrid infrastructures
Good knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID
Experience with network, storage, and virtualisation
Understanding of modern cyber security concepts
Experience with firewalls and endpoint security, ideally Sophos
Good PowerShell skills
Experience with cloud migrations and infrastructure projects
Certifications such as AZ-104 or MS-102 are an advantage
Enjoyment of technical customer projects and varied tasks
Strong initiative and solution-oriented thinking
Structured working style and high technical willingness to learn
Strong communication skills and professional appearance
Willingness to take technical responsibility for projects and customer solutions
