Your Tasks

  • You are responsible for complex transfers from the intensive care unit, prepare these and accompany the nursing team.
  • You will be consulted in complex patient situations on the ward and advise patients, relatives and the interprofessional team.
  • You take on the professional leadership as well as support and coaching of nursing specialists in orthopaedics, traumatology and neurosurgery.
  • You create and update specialist SOPs, instructions and concepts in collaboration with specialist nursing experts and other professional groups.
  • You lead and accompany projects within the framework of professional development in the medical field or KSA-wide and ensure nursing quality in orthopaedics, traumatology and neurosurgery.
  • You prepare current nursing quality indicators, discuss them in the participative management committee and initiate measures, plan the evaluation and delegate implementation to the nursing specialists.
  • You develop strategic directions together with the nursing development management.
  • You ensure interprofessional collaboration through appropriate channels.
  • You take on an advisory and role model function in all nursing-relevant topics and have co-decision rights in the participative management committee as well as in the specialist committee.

Your Profile

  • Several years of professional experience in orthopaedics, traumatology, neurosurgery or the field of surgery
  • Master of Science in Nursing or half of the degree completed
  • Understanding of strategic, operational and scientific issues
  • Professional appearance and enthusiasm for further development of the specialist fields in an interprofessional team
