Qualified Nurse as Permanent Night Watch
40 - 100%
Acute ward S2 with focus on psychosis
The acute ward S2 is aimed at people in psychiatric emergency situations who require immediate help. We offer these people professional support. We provide assistance during the acute phase. This includes psychiatric emergency care with thorough diagnostics, appropriate treatment, and a swift assessment of the social situation. The goals of treatment are the rebuilding of everyday skills, the development of possible coping strategies, and the stabilisation of self-esteem. In line with the treatment focus, the ward offers various specific therapies and interventions (e.g. voice interview, IPT, etc.). As part of the Recovery model, a peer worker is also a fixed member of the treatment team. The ward is usually run as an open ward and implements the Safewards model. We look forward to you contributing your ideas to this.
Your Tasks
Flexibility and enjoyment of variety are central points. Because that is exactly what working in acute psychiatry means. If this applies to you, here are some of the most important tasks:
- Individual care and support of patients at night
- Leading crisis talks and handovers
- Coordination and planning of treatment with the responsible doctors and therapists
- To better integrate into the team and ensure processes, part of the induction may be planned during the day shift
Your Profile
Professional competence, service orientation, and a great deal of humour are the most important qualities you must bring. With these qualities, we achieve the best treatment outcomes for our patients, and the team is pleased that you will become part of it. If you have experience in nursing but not in the psychiatric environment, entry is still possible. What matters then is that you bring a lot of motivation and commitment to acquire the specific skills. Within the framework of our extensive internal offerings and generous support for further education and training, you can learn the various therapy methods and then apply them yourself. Of course, you will also be supported by your new colleagues.
Our Offer
- The two acute wards additionally share a running night watch
- At night, a security service employee is also present for support
- Innovative employer with strong interprofessional collaboration
- Very good development opportunities with generous support for further education and training
- Various discounts (e.g. with Reka checks, health-promoting offers, selected leisure activities and online shops)
- 5 weeks holiday, 27 days from the age of 50 and 32 days from the age of 60
- Excellent catering options at very fair prices and much more...
We would be happy to present our employee benefits to you in a job interview.
