Your tasks

• Management of service operations in the absence of the head of service
• Ensuring coordination and execution of prisoner transports
• Timely delivery and/or presentation of prisoners to official authorities
• Independent planning and execution of access controls at courts, politics and events
• Management of confiscated and unplaceable items
• Handling of responsible administrative police tasks such as naturalisation reports, official authority surveys, security checks
• Assistance with extraordinary operations

Your profile

• Completed police school (Pol I) with several years of professional experience in the police environment
• Organisational talent with assertiveness
• Good communication and conflict resolution skills
• Willingness to work irregular hours and on-call duty
• Foreign language skills (E)
• Driving licence category B
• Integrity with Swiss citizenship and impeccable reputation
• Residence in the canton of Zug or within the specified residential radius

Your working environment

The Zug police provide security, traffic, criminal and administrative police services for the benefit of the canton and its population. The Reputation and Transport Service, in consultation with the responsible authorities, carries out arrests and deliveries of prisoners to the relevant offices. When it comes to prisoner transports, our staff work closely with the Zug prison, the Bostadel correctional facility, the Migration Office and the Public Prosecutor's Office of the canton of Zug.
