You work in a technically demanding platform landscape where stability, automation and observability play a central role.
You take responsibility for systems that are crucial for reliable IT operations and actively contribute your experience to their further development.
In doing so, you combine engineering, automation and troubleshooting to ensure that platforms not only function but continuously improve.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the operation and further development of Splunk and Cribl as central platforms for logging and analysis.
You further develop the monitoring and observability landscape with Zabbix, Grafana and Prometheus and ensure their reliable operation.
You actively shape modern Kubernetes and container platforms with Rancher, Helm and ArgoCD.
You work with HAProxy and Traefik and continuously develop the corresponding platform components.
You automate recurring processes with Ansible, creating standardised and efficient operational processes.
You support the operation and further development of PostgreSQL, MariaDB and/or MySQL platforms.
You define technical standards and contribute to security, operational and automation policies.
You take technical responsibility in infrastructure and platform projects as well as in changes, maintenance and rollouts.
You analyse complex faults at 3rd-level support and develop sustainable solutions.
Together with the team, you ensure platform availability outside regular working hours as part of the on-call service.
Qualifications:
You have completed training, studies or a comparable qualification in the IT field.
You bring several years of experience in engineering and operating complex Linux, container and platform environments.
You have solid Linux knowledge and confidently use Ansible in practice.
You have extensive experience with Splunk and/or Cribl and understand the operation of central logging and analysis platforms.
You are very familiar with monitoring and observability and have practical experience with Zabbix, Grafana and/or Prometheus.
You have already operated and further developed Kubernetes and container platforms.
You know technologies such as Rancher, Helm, ArgoCD, HAProxy and/or Traefik.
You have basic knowledge of PostgreSQL, MariaDB and/or MySQL.
Ideally, you have knowledge of Python or Go.
You have experience in IT and infrastructure projects and ideally have already taken on technical partial responsibility.
You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
You have a high standard of quality and service and enjoy working with different departments.
You have very good German and good English skills.
