THARAD is a care organisation for the municipalities of Derendingen, Deitingen and Luterbach. Over 200 employees are committed to the areas of outpatient and inpatient care and support, hospitality, administration, security and infrastructure for the well-being of our residents and clients.

 In our institution, the needs and well-being of our residents and clients are at the centre. The care centre offers a home to 84 residents and has a public restaurant with fifty seats. To complement our catering team, we are looking for a committed cook as of 1 December 2026 or by arrangement as

Deputy Head of Catering 80 - 100% (m/f)

Your tasks
Supporting the Head of Catering in managing the catering area and deputising in their absence
Contributing to menu planning
Taking daily responsibility for production and active participation
Maintaining resident contact to optimise individual wishes/requirements
Ensuring and checking goods receipt
Adhering to hygiene guidelines and legal requirements
Taking on cleaning and control tasks
Cooperative teamwork and collaboration with all other areas
Assisting with events
Accompanying, guiding and training apprentices and interns
Co-responsibility for purchasing and inventory management

Your profile
Completed training as a cook with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
Completed trainer course
Diet cook advantageous but not required
Several years of professional experience in healthcare advantageous
Willingness to take responsibility and help further develop the catering area
Enjoyment of fresh, seasonal and wholesome cuisine
Organised, resilient, cheerful personality with a high level of commitment
Independent, precise, reliable working style with a strong quality awareness
Very good communication skills
Very good oral and written German skills and good PC skills
