Senior Network Engineer 100%

Your Role
- Overall responsibility for the network infrastructure across all business areas of the SCB group
- Design, planning and management of a comprehensive network redesign including target architecture and migration strategy
- Development and implementation of network security concepts (segmentation, zero trust, firewall policies, VPN)
- Operation, monitoring and continuous development of routers, switches, firewalls and WLAN in a 24/7 environment including regular on-call duties
- Close collaboration with the server/client, VMware and cloud departments on network-related topics
- Creation and maintenance of network documentation, operational and emergency concepts
- Building internal know-how and active knowledge transfer to reduce dependence on individual external partners
Our Requirements
- Advanced vocational training in the ICT field or degree in computer science/network technology
- Proven professional experience in the network area, including several years in an architecture or senior role
- Good knowledge in the field of network automation
- Certifications advantageous: Sonicwall certification, Extreme certification
- Good knowledge in related areas: virtualisation (VMware), server and client infrastructure
- Very good German and good English skills
- Solid, practical expertise in network security
- Experience with critical 24/7 infrastructures, ideally in a regulated industry
