Lecturer in Legal English I and II (part-time)

Your responsibilities

• Preparing, conducting, and reflecting on face-to-face sessions
• Supervising and supporting students in achieving learning objectives outside of face-to-face sessions (e-moderation, e-coaching)
• Active use of the Moodle e-learning platform
• Monitoring students’ learning progress and engaging with them appropriately
• Creating, conducting, assessing, and reflecting on online learning activities, online assessments, exams, and term papers
• Planning, creating, evaluating, and revising modules (module plan and online course) in consultation with the department head

Your profile

• Completed university degree (Master/Licentiate) in law, business law, or English linguistics with a specialisation in legal language
• English at native speaker level (C2/Native Speaker) as well as excellent expertise in Common Law, contract drafting, and commercial English
• Relevant professional experience in legal practice (e.g. international law firm, legal department) or many years of experience in teaching specialised language to lawyers
• Didactic qualification and strong affinity for e-learning (blended learning) desirable, or willingness to develop in this area
