We are looking for an entrepreneurial personality with a can-do attitude who takes responsibility and is eager to further develop AGROKORN AG together with our team.

As Managing Director, you steer the company as a whole – from purchasing and procurement through sales and pricing to logistics and team leadership. You move daily between Swiss agriculture and international commodity markets. In short: You decide, negotiate, act and shape.

Your role

• You take overall responsibility for AGROKORN AG and lead the company strategically. We see it like this:
• Purchasing & Procurement: You procure feed raw materials on national and international markets and are responsible for mandatory stockholding.
• Sales & Margins: You bring purchasing and sales together and have a feel for when the right time is for the right price.
• Market & Customers: You know Swiss agriculture and can discuss raw materials and feeding with livestock farmers and compound feed manufacturers on equal terms.
• Feeding: You understand what pigs and cattle eat – and why.
• Leadership: You lead our team, set priorities and create the conditions for us to be successful together.
• Further developing the company: You help shape processes and structures and take co-responsibility for finance and IT in day-to-day business.

What you bring

You are entrepreneurial, decisive and strong in negotiation. You think not only in tasks but in opportunities, markets and results. Ideally, you bring:

• Training as an Agronomist ETH or FH or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, business management training with solid experience in agricultural trade.
• Good knowledge of Swiss agriculture and international commodity markets.
• Experience in purchasing and sales – and a good sense for prices, markets and the right timing.
• Negotiation skills, closing strength and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Very good German skills. English and French are a plus.
