For a renowned client in the Aargau area or Bern region, we are looking for an experienced individual as IT Support (NOC) 100%. In this role, you ensure the stable, secure, and high-performance operation of the network infrastructure and take on a central role in analysing and resolving complex network issues.
Your Responsibilities
- Operation, monitoring, and further development of the existing network infrastructure
- Ensuring the availability and stability of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall environments
- Analysis and resolution of complex network faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
- Monitoring systems using modern network and monitoring tools
- Execution and coordination of changes, updates, configuration adjustments, and maintenance work
- Handling incidents, problems, and service requests while adhering to agreed service levels
- Supporting the implementation of network and security requirements
- Participation in network projects, migrations, rollouts, and technical optimisations
- Coordination with internal departments, external partners, and manufacturers
- Maintaining technical documentation and accurate recording in the ticketing and documentation system
Your Profile
- Completed training in IT, systems engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in network operations, NOC, or network engineering environment is an advantage
- Solid knowledge in routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience in operating and administering firewalls and network security solutions
- Experience with network monitoring, ticketing, and documentation systems
- Strong skills in systematic fault analysis and sustainable problem resolution
- Independent, structured, and security-oriented working style
- High service orientation as well as clear and understandable communication
- Very good German skills and good English skills
- Team player, resilient, and willing to work shifts or on-call duties
