FMEA Specialist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure the successful global implementation and application of FMEA processes according to VDA standards.
• Moderate and conduct design and process FMEA workshops as well as risk analyses.
• Continuously improve and optimise internal risk analysis processes and methods.
• Conduct training on FMEA and quality methods for employees worldwide.
• Support knowledge transfer initiatives and promote the exchange of best practices within the organisation.
• Present FMEA methods and results to customers and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain effective cross-functional collaboration to support quality and risk management objectives.
• Support the quality organisation during internal and external audits.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new international quality methods and strategies.
• Monitor FMEA-relevant KPIs and define, track, and implement corrective actions to enhance performance and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Qualification as an FMEA specialist.
• Fluent German and English skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Extensive experience with FMEA methods, processes, and their systematic application.
• In-depth experience with quality processes and mechanisms in the high-tech components environment.
• Knowledge of integrating FMEA methods into organisational processes.
• Good understanding of organisational and technical processes.
• Strong analytical and structured working style.
• Excellent presentation, moderation, communication, and persuasion skills.
• Ability to collaborate successfully in international teams and within a matrix organisation.
• Enthusiasm for FMEA and continuous quality improvement.
• Basic knowledge of VDA and ISO requirements.
• Experience with FMEA software is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, including customer requirements and relevant manufacturing processes, is desirable.
• Market knowledge in the semiconductor environment is considered an additional advantage.
