FMEA Specialist (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Lead and ensure the successful global implementation and application of FMEA processes according to VDA standards.
- Moderate and conduct design and process FMEA workshops as well as risk analyses.
- Continuously improve and optimise internal risk analysis processes and methods.
- Conduct training on FMEA and quality methods for employees worldwide.
- Support knowledge transfer initiatives and promote the exchange of best practices within the organisation.
- Present FMEA methods and results to customers and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain effective cross-functional collaboration to support quality and risk management objectives.
- Support the quality organisation during internal and external audits.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new international quality methods and strategies.
- Monitor FMEA-relevant KPIs and define, track, and implement corrective actions to enhance performance and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
- Qualification as an FMEA specialist.
- Fluent German and English skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Extensive experience with FMEA methods, processes, and their systematic application.
- In-depth experience with quality processes and mechanisms in the high-tech components environment.
- Knowledge of integrating FMEA methods into organisational processes.
- Good understanding of organisational and technical processes.
- Strong analytical and structured working style.
- Excellent presentation, moderation, communication, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to collaborate successfully in international teams and within a matrix organisation.
- Enthusiasm for FMEA and continuous quality improvement.
- Basic knowledge of VDA and ISO requirements.
- Experience with FMEA software is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, including customer requirements and relevant manufacturing processes, is desirable.
- Market knowledge in the semiconductor environment is considered an additional advantage.
