About the job

At our state-approved private school with over 100 pupils and more than 50 staff members, we teach children and young people from kindergarten to Year 10.

For the overall management of our school, we are looking for a personality who combines pedagogy, personnel management and entrepreneurial thinking. The position starts no later than 01.08.2027.

You will take on the operational overall responsibility of the school and directly lead our three department heads. In doing so, you actively shape the future of our school.

• Leadership and development of the department heads
• Responsibility for personnel, recruitment and personnel development
• Further development of organisation and educational quality
• Responsibility for the efficient use of personnel and financial resources
• Co-shaping the strategic and entrepreneurial development
• Collaboration with staff, parents, specialist agencies and authorities

You are a leader who can win people over, make decisions and take responsibility.

Ideally, you have:

• several years of leadership and personnel experience from the private sector
• experience in education, social or comparable environments
• understanding of children and young people with special needs
• business and entrepreneurial thinking
• organisational talent, decisiveness and healthy pragmatism
• empathy, clarity and a good sense of humour

School leadership training and/or business management further education is an advantage – however, what matters most to us are personality, leadership competence and willingness to shape.
