WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU FOR

As a purchaser (m/f/d), you will take on a versatile role at the interface between suppliers, engineering, and quality, making an important contribution to ensuring material availability as well as further developing our supplier base.

Your tasks in detail:

• Identification of second-source suppliers for selected commodities with the aim of requalifying selected components
• Organisation and coordination of alignment meetings between engineering, quality, and order processing to manage second-source projects
• Assumption and support of strategically important suppliers including order processing
• Support of special projects and strategic initiatives, especially in the area of obsolescence management
• Review of incoming demand notifications as well as creation and evaluation of necessary price enquiries
• Filing and maintenance of price information and offers as well as creation, control, and dispatch of orders
• Monitoring of confirmed delivery dates and, if necessary, initiation of appropriate remedial measures to improve material availability
• Correspondence with existing suppliers as well as active maintenance and further development of supplier relationships

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Technical basic training with commercial further education or commercial training with additional technical background
• At least five years of professional experience in a comparable role in a manufacturing company
• Very good ERP knowledge, ideally SAP R/3
• Good user knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Pragmatic, team- and solution-oriented personality
• Careful and structured working style as well as a pronounced implementation strength
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as a high degree of personal responsibility

• 40-hour week (plus 1 hour catch-up time for bridge days)
