For a modern IT environment, an experienced individual is sought who coordinates software releases throughout the entire process and simultaneously takes responsibility for the stable operation of business-critical applications. The position forms the interface between development, testing, operations, and specialist departments.
In addition to release management, deployments, test coordination, technical application configurations, and the integration of third-party systems are part of the versatile range of tasks.
Responsibilities:
Planning, coordination, and management of software releases across various products and applications
Coordination between development, testing, operations, and specialist departments as well as ensuring a structured release process
Execution and monitoring of deployments in test and production environments
Coordination of tests, approvals, and releases as well as preparation of complete release documentation and release notes
Ensuring stable application operation and coordination of the integration of third-party applications
Responsibility for technical application configurations including necessary database adjustments
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in IT operations, application management, or release management
Good understanding of modern applications, IT architectures, and operational processes
Experience with JIRA and common tools for planning, coordination, and task management
Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, feature flags, and monitoring solutions
Structured, coordination-strong, and reliable working style with pronounced communication skills
Experience in a regulated environment, such as insurance or comparable industries, is an advantage
