What to expect
- Entrepreneurial responsibility for the assigned ranges including sales, margin, contribution margin, budget and pricing strategy across all sales channels (B2B & B2C)
- Strategic development of the range based on market, consumer and sport trends as well as evaluation of new manufacturers, suppliers and competitive sources (grey market sources)
- Independent relationship management and negotiation with manufacturers and suppliers as well as implementation of the procurement strategy in close cooperation with purchasing
- Ensuring economic product availability, efficient ordering processes (pre-order and reorder) and high data quality across all sales channels
- Development of marketing measures together with marketing and sales as well as coordination of internal and external interfaces
- Preparation of relevant reports and manufacturer settlements as well as ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the responsible product areas
- Independence in strategic project management and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders on programmes such as dropshipping, data connections and purchasing tools
What you bring
- Completed basic training with a Federal VET Diploma or equivalent qualification, ideally in trade or e-commerce
- Further training in marketing, product management, purchasing or business administration is an advantage
- 2–3 years of professional experience in product management, category management or purchasing, preferably in e-commerce or sport/lifestyle environment
- Very good analytical skills and enjoyment in deriving concrete recommendations for action from key figures
- Experience in dealing with manufacturers and suppliers as well as strong negotiation skills
- Confident handling of ERP systems, master data management and MS Office
- Knowledge of cross-channel pricing and marketing
- Very good German and good English skills
- You convince through entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, a structured and independent way of working as well as strong communication and team skills. Your passion for sport and digital commerce rounds off your profile
