The social therapeutic residential facility TheWo Bethanien is part of Diakonie Bethanien and is aimed at women with eating disorders and other mental illnesses who require intensive support in everyday life. Our unique offering in Switzerland provides a protected framework for stabilisation and personal development and bridges the gap between outpatient and inpatient treatment.
We work interdisciplinarily and on an equal footing: a team of professionals from social pedagogy and psychology ensures holistic support in the therapeutically supported daily routine.

- Participation in and conducting of individual conversations and group work according to systemic approaches
- Support of the professional staff in case management, after good induction own case management
- Participation in the interdisciplinary report and contribution of observations and subjective assessments
- Support of the residents in coping with everyday life as well as life and future planning
- Planning and implementation of leisure activities
- Co-responsibility for joint (therapeutic) cooking and eating
- Taking on areas of responsibility
What you bring with you:

- A confident and respectful approach to people with mental illnesses
- Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours (approx. 2 - 3 evenings per week from 15:30–22:30 and 1 weekend per month)
- A valid acceptance or admission from a training institution
