About the job
Shape the future of a vibrant community – with responsibility, closeness to the people, and a wide scope for creativity.
The municipality of Schönenbuch BL is an attractive community with a high quality of life and a strong sense of togetherness. The municipal administration is the central point of contact for the population and supports the municipal council in the implementation of its tasks.
As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for a responsible and versatile personality as of 1 October 26 or by agreement as
Municipal Administrator
You will take over the professional, organisational, and personnel management of the municipal administration with around six employees and ensure an efficient, citizen-oriented, and legally compliant operation. As the central contact person for the municipal council, you prepare decision-making bases, accompany political processes, and support the implementation of resolutions. The versatile role includes a wide range of tasks with a high degree of personal responsibility. You are responsible for topics in the areas of finance, building administration, and spatial planning, accompany construction projects, and handle consultations, decrees, and contract matters.
You have a solid education in administration, public management, business administration, or a comparable qualification and ideally bring experience in a public administration as well as in accompanying construction projects. Strategic thinking, pragmatism, integrity, and initiative characterise you. With your structured way of working and organisational talent, you create the conditions for a modern and efficient municipal administration.
You can expect a varied key position with great personal responsibility, short decision-making paths, and direct scope for creativity in a committed community.
