Senior Full Stack Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF130,000 - 160,000Our ROCKEN partner is developing an AI-supported software platform that automates complex enquiry and offer processes in service-intensive industries. The solution combines email communication, AI agents, and existing specialist systems so that complex enquiries become binding offers within seconds – with employee approval if desired. A young, technology-driven environment with flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and plenty of scope for creativity is offered.
Role:
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer from the outset, you are not building just another feature but a new software category. The focus is on AI agents that take over complex processes while remaining intuitive for non-technical users. You work directly with the founders, speak with customers, and bring solutions live within days. The stack relies on proven technologies for exciting problems: React, Python, and AWS. Responsibilities:
You develop elegant interfaces with TypeScript, React, and Tailwind that make complex agent logic easy to use.
You build backend services in Python (FastAPI or Django) that orchestrate Large Language Models (LLMs), manage state machines, and connect existing interfaces.
Furthermore, you take end-to-end responsibility for your features, from the Terraform script to the final correction in the UI.
You work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Node.js, pragmatically choosing the appropriate solution.
Additionally, you operate the infrastructure on AWS with Docker and short deployment cycles.
You also speak directly with customers, understand their problems, and translate them into functioning software.
Qualifications:
You bring at least eight years of experience in software development, focusing on full-stack or backend and infrastructure.
Startup experience in a small team shapes your working style; you deliberately keep processes light.
You debug a race condition as confidently as you optimise a hook or achieve a clean layout.
Product intuition characterises you; you do not need a long specification document.
Moreover, you know when a clean abstraction is necessary and when a quick solution suffices.
You also enjoy working on-site in an intense environment and communicate confidently in both German and English.
