Due to growth, we are looking to fill the following position immediately or by arrangement:
Social Pedagogical Family Support
As a social pedagogical family support worker, you will work independently in the area of outreach family work, primarily in the families' homes. The scope of duties includes parent coaching, individual support, assessments within the framework of child protection, and supervised visits.
Your tasks:
- You work directly within the families' educational environment and strengthen/enable the guardians for successful upbringing and life management.
- You facilitate contact between children and their separated parents during supervised visits.
- You identify resources and risks concerning child protection and provide recommendations to the referring authorities.
- You work systemically, participatively, resource-oriented, and interdisciplinarily.
- You maintain case-related files according to guidelines, write reports and meeting minutes.
Your profile:
- You have completed training in social pedagogy/social work or psychology at FH or university level.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in outreach family support.
- You are a resilient personality who can remain calm and set priorities in hectic situations.
- You possess a high degree of independence and self-organisation.
- You have impeccable German language skills, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage (preferably Italian, Arabic, Spanish, Tamil, Portuguese, Russian, Albanian, Turkish).
