Workplace Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
Our partner is an owner-managed IT service company and has been successful for over 25 years with the full spectrum of IT solutions. Tailored to public administrations, energy suppliers and SMEs in the service sector, our partner employs around 100 staff and impresses with excellent industry and technology know-how.
Role:
Modern workplaces are not created with a standard setup but through clean engineering. In this position as Workplace Systems Engineer, you build client environments for various customer projects and keep them technically up to date. Intune, Microsoft 365 (M365) and automated deployment processes are part of your daily toolkit. You critically review technological innovations in the workplace area and convert them into stable operational solutions.
Responsibilities:
You design and implement client solutions in customer projects and independently manage sub-projects
Furthermore, you are responsible for the operation, packaging and further development of software distribution
You analyse and resolve complex client issues in 2nd level support
You evaluate new technologies around the digital workplace and bring them into productive operation
Additionally, you script recurring processes, for example with PowerShell
You also document configurations, processes and solutions in a technically comprehensible manner
Qualifications:
You have a technical basic education, for example as an IT specialist EFZ, complemented by solid professional experience
You are confident in client engineering, from imaging through deployment to compliance
You have practical experience with client management and software distribution tools
You master client operating systems and the M365 environment at a technical depth
Structured working methods and a clear focus on user needs characterise you
Additionally, you speak Swiss German, read technical documentation easily in English, and are mobile with your own vehicle and driving licence
