About the job

Portrait of the School/Institution

The Salome Brunner Foundation is committed to around 300 children and adolescents with speech development disorders and learning difficulties. With our various schools, we see ourselves as an important part of the educational landscape of the Canton of Bern. The Biel-Seeland Speech Therapy School is a special public school for children and adolescents with a complex speech development disorder and includes five classes in cycle one and one class in cycle two. Small classes allow for addressing the individual needs of the students. Speech therapy and psychomotor therapy take place as individual therapy. As of 01.08.2026 we are looking for

Tasks

- 12-18 lessons of speech therapy - speech therapy support for the students (2 lessons per week each) - collaboration in the class team

Requirements

- completed studies in speech therapy - joy and interest in working with children and adolescents with special needs in the areas of language, communication, behavior, and learning - open, team-oriented, and flexible
