At the Gymnasium Interlaken with its department in Gstaad, around 450 pupils and 70 teachers learn and teach. This makes Gymnasium Interlaken the smallest public grammar school in the canton of Bern. Employees in administration and maintenance, as well as the school management, work together as a team to ensure smooth operations at the school. Our school is characterised by a personal atmosphere.

Your tasks

You coordinate and are responsible for administrative processes and perform secretarial duties in a team with two employees and the school management.
Your main areas are communication (e.g. managing the website and the info display), school management support (e.g. correspondence, scheduling) and general secretarial tasks (e.g. minute-taking and telephone service). In addition, you assist with the organisation of our school events (e.g. information sessions), process registrations, prepare documents and handle correspondence with internal and external parties.

Your profile

* You have completed commercial or equivalent training.
* You are proactive, flexible, independent and enjoy writing texts.
* You enjoy a lively environment with contact to teachers, pupils, parents and authorities and like working in a small team.
* You keep an overview even in hectic phases, work precisely and organise administrative processes efficiently and reliably.
* You are willing to familiarise yourself with the diverse tasks of a school secretariat, have very good MS Office skills and are confident in digital communication. User knowledge of school software (Evento) is an advantage.
