About the job
Specialist in Family Economics and Food (50-60%), in Lausanne
Rethinking food. Creating connections.
Since 1958, Agridea has been committed as an independent knowledge platform for sustainable and pragmatic solutions in Swiss agriculture and food. With around 120 collaborators in Lindau, Lausanne, Bern and Cadenazzo, we network various stakeholders through our agronomic and methodological expertise, and we carry out courses, projects, publications and software in partnership.
At the crossroads of different thematic areas - food, home economics and agriculture - you put your expertise into practice. You develop offers tailored to concrete needs and strengthen networks in French-speaking Switzerland, with the desire to create, transmit and bring people together.
These activities interest you
- Design and lead courses in French as well as develop training and advisory materials close to practice.
- Initiate new projects around food and create concrete links with agricultural practice.
- Maintain and develop networks in French-speaking Switzerland by bringing together actors from food, family economics and diversification.
- Collaborate with specialists in family economics, value chains and agroecology beyond areas of expertise and linguistic borders.
What characterises you
- Bachelor or Master in Food Science, equivalent training in the field of family economics and food, or federal farmer’s certificate.
- Experience in project management and, ideally, in adult education.
- Good knowledge of agricultural practice and rural family economics, with the desire to convey knowledge in a concrete and accessible way.
- Autonomy, organisational skills and interpersonal ease, with excellent French skills and good knowledge of German.
What awaits you
- Space to propose your ideas, launch new topics and take on responsibilities.
- A varied field of activity between food, agriculture, training and network development.
- An interdisciplinary team and collaboration that creates links between areas of expertise and linguistic regions.
