The Region Zäziwil School is a modern and future-oriented educational institution that values an inspiring and supportive learning environment. Our goal is to accompany pupils individually on their educational journey and to develop them into responsible, self-confident and creative personalities. We rely on close teamwork, openness to new pedagogical approaches and a strong community.
Zäziwil is a picturesque municipality in the Emmental. The municipality with about 1600 inhabitants is part of the Bern-Mittelland administrative district and is located about 20 kilometres east of Bern.
The Region Zäziwil School consists of 2 locations.
The kindergarten is located at Zelgweg 2, while pupils from grades 1 to 9 are taught at the locations Bahnhofstrasse 5 and 7. Both school buildings are in close proximity to the station (S2 line) and are therefore excellently accessible by public transport.
At the Region Zäziwil School, around 200 compulsory school children are taught in a total of 11 classes. Since summer 2023, the lower secondary level has been working according to the continuous model 4 "MOSAIK". Since January 2026, both school buildings on Bahnhofstrasse have been renovated or newly built and meet the latest standards. The Region Zäziwil School thus has a modern, future-oriented infrastructure with sufficient room capacities.

Tasks
You enrich our existing MR team with your professional competence and your personal strength.
With passion, creativity and commitment, you design the lessons so that they inspire, motivate and sustainably support the learners.
You accompany and support your pupils in everyday school life with empathy and promote their social skills.
You work closely with the teaching staff, parents and other specialists to ensure holistic support for the pupils.
You take responsibility for school projects and contribute to the further development of the school.
Requirements
You are a trained and motivated specialist in remedial education (SHP) with heart and mind.
Ideally, you already have experience in remedial educational work and bring your expertise with commitment and empathy. As a dedicated and caring personality, you accompany pupils with sensitivity and conviction. The individual support of each child is close to your heart. You meet learners and their families with respect, appreciation and openness. Teamwork is a matter of course for you. You actively contribute to a collegial school climate and appreciate exchange within the team as well as independent work. You are open to new pedagogical paths. Reflection and further development are part of your professional routine – and you enrich school life with your own ideas and experiences.
