What is my role?

• Support in the operational and technical purchasing of the assigned product groups

• Initiation, monitoring and follow-up of orders

• Obtaining, checking and comparing quotations including technical clarifications

• Maintenance of article master data, supplier and price information in the ERP system

• Collaboration in supplier management and supplier evaluation

• Preparation of reports and analyses

• Support in handling quality and complaint issues

• Participation in cost analyses and identification of optimisation potentials

• Professional and personnel management of the logistics department (warehouse, scheduling and material flow)

• Ensuring smooth operational logistics operations

• Planning, control and continuous optimisation of logistics processes

• Leadership, development and deployment planning of logistics staff

• Definition, monitoring and evaluation of relevant key figures (KPIs)

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed training as a Technical Salesperson or a business administration education or further training

• Ideally first professional experience in purchasing, procurement or in an industrial environment

• Interest in technical products and industrial processes

• First experience in logistics or in managing staff is an advantage

• Sound knowledge or a strong interest in logistics processes

• Good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form

• Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office is an advantage

• Structured, reliable and solution-oriented working style

• High personal responsibility as well as pronounced communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to take responsibility and to develop professionally and personally
